Ways to Give
Giving is an act of worship, a way of expressing our trust in Jesus and a way to acknowledge that every good gift comes from Him. Here are some easy ways to support our church.
Frequently Asked Questions
God is our provider. He promises in Matthew 6:33 to provide for our needs. The Bible teaches that everything we have comes from God and belongs to Him. Psalm 24:1 says, "The earth is the Lord's and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it." Therefore, we are stewards or managers of what God has given to us.
The word "tithe" means one tenth. So when someone tithes, that person gives one tenth or 10% of their earnings. Tithing (10%) is a good starting point of giving, but a gift of any amount is an act of faith that aligns us with the Church's mission. God has blessed some people financially who are able to give substantially more than 10% and still live comfortably. All of our offerings are a means by which we give back to God what is already His. Doing so reminds us that God is in control and provides what is needed.
We recognize that Jesus talked about money almost as much as any other single topic – second only to The Kingdom of God. Matthew 6:21 says, "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Together, we work as a church to reach the lost and make an impact in our community, and around the world. By sharing our resources, God's work is done more effectively and we are able to celebrate God's faithfulness as a church family.
Your gifts are applied to a variety of ministries at NCC, including children, students and adults and involving local, national and global mission fields.
Yes. Our Finance Plan (or budget) is determined based on the goals and objectives of each ministry area within the church. The overall Finance Plan is evaluated by staff and leadership and shared with the church family every September.
Mobile Giving is a great way to schedule and track your financial gifts to the church. By scheduling your gift in advance, your generosity will continue to consistently support our ministry no matter where you might be. Download our mobile app, Church Center. Then search "Northside Christian Church".
The program can be configured to apply funds from your account at a frequency that's right for you. Currently the online options are: one time, once a week, every two weeks, once a month and every three months.
Yes. There is an option to give a one time gift. This is a great way to better understand how the system works.
Yes. NCC is equipped to receive donations of stocks into a Brokerage Account. These funds are sold in a timely fashion and applied to ministry. Anyone interested in donating in this manner can email us at office@northsidecc.org and someone will contact you on how to get started.
Year-End Giving Statements are compiled from our software and then emailed to individual donors around mid January. If you prefer to receive a physical copy of your donations, please email the church at office@northsidecc.org with your name and contact information and someone will be in touch with you within 3 business days.
