Welcome to Northside Christian Church! Whether you're just starting to explore faith or you've been on a spiritual journey for a while, we believe that the most important decision you'll ever make is to follow Jesus.
Who Is Jesus?
Jesus is the Son of God who came to earth to rescue us from sin and restore our relationship with God. He lived a perfect life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again so that we could experience new life—both now and forever.
“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” — John 14:6
What Does It Mean to Follow Jesus?
Following Jesus means:
- Trusting Him as Lord and Savior.
- Turning away from your old life (repentance).
- Walking daily in relationship with Him through prayer, reading the Bible, and connecting with other believers.
- Living out your faith with love, grace, and purpose.
How Can I Start?
- Believe that Jesus is the Son of God who died for your sins and rose again.
- Repent—turn from your sins and turn toward God.
- Confess Jesus as Lord.
- Be baptized—a beautiful, biblical step to publicly declare your faith and begin your new life in Christ.
- Grow—Get connected with a local church (like Northside!), study God’s Word, and live out your faith in community.
