Serve with Kids Ministry

Help Create Sundays Kids Can’t Wait For

Every Sunday, Northside Kids creates a safe, joyful, and faith-filled environment where children can learn about Jesus, build friendships, and feel deeply cared for. But this ministry does not happen without people who are willing to show up, love kids well, and help create a place where families feel confident leaving their children.

You do not need to be a Bible scholar or have years of experience. If you can smile, care, play, guide, comfort, or simply be a steady presence, there is a place for you on the Kids Ministry team.

Commitment

Most roles serve during one service on a rotating basis, with many opportunities available every other month or on selected Sundays.

Good to Know

All volunteers are required to complete a background check. Specific training is available.

Help support safety and order in the Kids Worship Room, assist children with bathroom breaks, and help with parent pickup after Shine Time.

Help lead elementary kids during the 9:00 AM worship environment through hosting, worship leading, and creating an engaging large-group experience.

Help lead elementary kids during the 10:45 AM worship environment through hosting, worship leading, and creating an engaging large-group experience.

Serve children with special needs by offering one-on-one support, helping meet individual needs, and creating a safe, loving environment where every child can participate.
