Serve at Northside

Create a Welcoming Place for People to Belong

From the moment someone walks through the doors, they are asking quiet questions: Is there a place for me here? Will someone notice me? Do I belong?

Our Discipleship volunteer teams help answer those questions with warmth, hospitality, and care. Whether you are pouring coffee, greeting guests, giving directions, or being available in a medical situation, your presence helps people feel welcomed, supported, and connected to the life of the church.

Church community does not happen by accident. It is built by people who are willing to notice others and serve with love.

Commitment

Most roles serve during one service on a selected Sunday rotation.

Ways to Serve

Help create a warm Sunday morning environment by preparing and serving coffee, setting up the coffee bar, keeping the area stocked and inviting, and cleaning up afterward.

Be one of the first friendly faces people see on Sunday mornings. Welcome guests, answer basic questions, and help people find where they need to go.

Welcome everyone to the Northside campus and help direct traffic, guide guests, and create a smooth and welcoming arrival experience.

Serve on standby during Sunday morning services to assist in the event of a medical incident or emergency. Medical, nursing, or EMT experience is needed for this role.

After proper vetting and training, serve in primary traffic areas to help assess needs, provide general support, and contribute to a safe environment for the church family.

Help with practical campus needs that keep Northside safe, clean, and inviting. Projects may include painting, minor plumbing, landscaping, playground maintenance, fire pit maintenance, carpet cleaning, and other minor repairs.
